About Me

I have over 20 years of extensive Human Resources and leadership experience spanning
both public and private sectors. I am passionate about fostering positive workplaces and
helping organisations and people to thrive. My background includes generalist HR,
wellbeing, strategic planning, employment relations, leadership development, and
organisational change. I am a clear communicator with a down-to-earth style, and I am well
placed to support you with your people problems and opportunities. I aim to provide
tailored and impactful solutions that will support you and your business.
I have a Bachelor of Business Studies majoring in Human Resource Management and a
Diploma in Positive Psychology and Wellbeing. I bring a collaborative, pragmatic and
empathetic approach to my work.

External and independent facilitation at your team meetings

I will listen to what your objectives are and create a bespoke plan to support you and your team to unlock employee engagement and productivity.

Operationalising strategy

I am a confident facilitator. I can run workshops to create a business plan including clear team and individual performance objectives that align with your business strategy. This may include clarifying Vision, Purpose and Values to drive team performance.

Human Resources support for the full employee lifecycle

Hire to retire / exit, through mana enhancing processes. I can support with policy writing and setting up clear and straight forward people processes for your business.

Employment relations support

If you have a tricky situation with one or more of your team members, I can help you to navigate this legally, with dignity and respect for all parties involved. This might include support responding to a personal grievance, and/or support at mediation if required.

Industrial relations and Union relationships

I have many years’ experience working alongside Unions, leading employment negotiations and striving for a win:win outcome for both parties.

Identifying and navigating roadblocks, problem solving and conflict management.

I use a variety of structured problem-solving tools and techniques to take the heat and emotion out of a situation, and find the best way forward for all parties.
